Areas We Serve

UNA, a nonprofit corporation has the intention of helping those in need by providing resources and programs that aim to end poverty and homelessness. We serve Northeastern PA, and envision building solid communities through advocacy, community programs, and education.

We believe that when we come together as a community, we build solid and lasting relationships that help provide our communities with opportunities that elevate them out of poverty.  We partner with local organizations, businesses, and government entities to provide a variety of services that help us reach our goal. 

 

Some of our programs include providing transitional housing, helping first-time home buyers, and providing affordable housing for rentals. We also work to bring awareness to the issues facing those in poverty by educating the community on ways they can help. We strive to create a sustainable, self-sufficient system that supports those in need while empowering them to control their lives and futures.
