Feed Our Future

Feed Our Future fund provides families experiencing financial hardship with financial assistance to help pay down their child's school lunch fees.

Data shows children who are provided a nourishing school meal perform better, have improved mental and physical health, less likely to experience excessive absenteeism, and are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities.

Certainly! Proper nutrition plays a vital role in the well-being of children.

Here are some benefits of healthy eating for kids:

  1. Stable Energy: A balanced diet provides the necessary nutrients to keep children energized throughout the day.

  2. Strong Bones and Teeth: Adequate calcium and vitamin D from nutritious foods contribute to healthy bone development.

  3. Improved Mental Health: Nutrient-rich meals help children think clearly and stay alert.

  4. Maintaining a Healthy Weight: Healthy eating habits reduce the risk of weight-related issues.

  5. Preventing Chronic Diseases: A nutritious diet can lower the chances of developing chronic health conditions later in life.

  6.

Encouraging children to consume a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables ensures they receive essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. As parents, involving kids in meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking fosters positive eating habits. Remember, teaching them about the benefits of each nutrient can make healthy choices more appealing.
