UNA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in need by providing resources and programs that aim to end poverty and homelessness while meeting the needs of a diverse population. Our mission is to build strong vibrant communities through advocacy, community programs, and education.
UNA provides a variety of programs for those facing socioeconomic disparities. We also work to bring awareness to the issues facing those in poverty by educating the community on ways they can help.
Our work is focused in northeastern Pennsylvania.

UNA measures success in its mission and vision by the positive impact our work has on the communities we serve. We strive to make a difference in people's lives and help create vibrant, equitable communities where everyone can thrive. We measure our success through data tracking of the number of individuals served, the quality of services provided, and feedback from our community partners. Additionally, we track outcomes such as increased housing stability, improved food security, and decreased rates of poverty or homelessness. These metrics help us understand how our services are making a difference.
